FISS Automatika Kft. divides its business activity into six main groups: primarily high-current energy distribution, secondly instrumental and control engineering works including pneumatics and low-current assembling, furthermore building engineering automation and supervisory systems, building of comprehensive complete target machines, as well as engineering services and planning.
The basic philosophy and motto of the company are also determined by these six main activities:

Our company was formed in June of 2010, and the economic background of that period wasn’t favourable for the companies operating within the private sector. Notwithstanding, it started a dynamic development and has been growing since then.
This development is due to the highly qualified professional background, primarily, and the stable financial background and the flexibility of our workers, secondly.
Our team considers flexibility to be a very important virtue, since this way we are always able to provide the expected service for our customers when they need it.
We are striving to develop complex turnkey solutions, thus we potentially perform the coordination for the prime contractor as well.
In the high-current energy distribution we rely on the technician and engineer colleagues who have been working in the profession for 20-25 years and have a lot of experience in assembling and installing distribution cabinets.
From the microcontrollers with some in and outputs, to the PLCs, or even to DCS systems having thousands of I/O points, we carry out expansion, development, designing, and implementation tasks.
In the case of manufacturing special purpose machines or customized machines, our company is at the disposal of the Customers from the assessment of the individual demands to the electrical and machinery designing, all the way to the implementation.
Our company undertakes the designing, complete implementation, and refurbishment of building automation and management systems, energy management systems, and monitoring systems.
We implement and put down to paper the visions of our customers with the eye of the designer. We can also prepare the plans in German, English, or even French, according to the demands of our partners.
Electrical and instrumental control engineering maintenance works. Maintenance and operation of complete electrical and control systems in pharmaceutics, chemical industry, and rubber industry.
In the high-current energy distribution we rely on the technician and engineer colleagues who have been working in the profession for 20-25 years and have a lot of experience in assembling and installing distribution cabinets. We manufacture our equipment in accordance with the MSZ EN 61439 (IEC 61439) standard, certify them ourselves and provide them with CE marking.
We generally utilize the products of the big renowned manufacturers, but we will certainly use any other component system according to the customer’s demands.
We devote special attention to the appropriate separations (form 2b-4b) and to designing the most optimal placements that are adequate for the warming conditions. We also manufacture equipment that are typified according to the requirements of the latest standard (MSZ EN 61439), during the certification of which we perform all the tests that are demanded by the standard and the operational safety of the equipment.
With the help of our electrical fitter colleagues we prepare high-current bus bar systems up to 4000A, which can be implemented with 50-100kA short circuit current withstand capability and customized supporting structure.
Every product is sold with an insulation resistance test report and quality certificate.
In connection with the implementation activities, our colleagues working in this area solve all the problems that arise in the energy distribution, which we list without the demand of completeness. Earthworks, protective tubing, building of surface mounted cantilever tracks, cabling, preparing cable heads, wiring, cable marking, checking of phase identities, configuring circular networks, construction of multi-directional feeds and redundant systems, implementation of enclosed bus systems.
In the medium voltage area we can satisfy customer demands together with our co-contractors, from the shipping of equipment via cabling to the delivery of complete systems.
Using the measuring and machining tools of our company, we are also able to solve unique problems (network analysis, power measurement, measurements up to the 49th harmonic, examinations with an infrared camera, comprehensive machining of copper and aluminium bus bars).
If necessary, based on individual assessments, we can carry out the dimensioning and manufacturing of the active or passive tuned power factor correction equipment that is the best fit for the network.
Our colleagues have the certifications and examinations that are necessary for the area of work and fire protection which is related to our profession (first-aider, fire lighting special examination, authorisation exams for the preparation of fire-proof seals, driver’s licenses for self-propelled aerial work platforms, forklift driving licenses, medium voltage cable installer qualifications, medium voltage equipment operator authorisations).
Similarly to the high-current segment, equipment manufacturing belongs to the instrumentation area as well, which has many things that are the same, but in its details, it requires a different type of attention from the colleagues performing the assembly. In this topic too, we closely monitor the development of PLCs and control instruments and the circumstances of the installation, as well as the installation environment, considering the observance of the EMC and shielding rules.
In the control technology segment, we carry out expansion, development, designing, and implementation tasks from the microcontrollers with some in and outputs, to the PLCs, or even to DCS systems having thousands of I/O points. Most of these tasks involve the installation and cabling of hardware elements and the development of control software, furthermore, if it is required, the development of display, database management, trend analysis, and archiving software.

Our control engineers work out solutions for unique problems as well, for example: level measurements/regulations, quantity measurements, custody transfer measurements, pressure measurements/regulations, cascade regulations, measurement/data collection systems.
In accordance with the development of the safety-technical systems and the requirements of the European Union, we have recently been able to gain a lot of experience in the development and implementation of safety-technical systems/emergency circuits for customized machines (security radars, danger zones, light curtains, two-hand control stations, foot pedals).
In the case of drive technology, we are at the disposal of our customers for powers up to 1MW, even for the starting and RPM regulation of medium voltage equipment (e.g. turbo compressor, agitator motor, refrigeration compressor). Designing, acquisition, programming, and harmonization of the drives are all part of our competence, let it be a complete machine line with 10-15 synchronous drives for a paper or weaving plant.

This group would not be complete without the pneumatic systems.
Our specialists have been repairing, servicing, and designing pneumatic systems for several decades in the areas of medicine and amino acid production. This includes the implementation of the electrical systems of the compressor stations generating compressed/instrument air, the electrical control technological implementation of the pneumatic distribution network, as well as the installation of the end user and actuators, and where applicable, the performance optimization of the entire air compressor plant for the sake of energy-efficient operation. The valve groups controlling the pneumatic actuators and the implementation of the pneumatic logical controls should also be mentioned here.
In the case of manufacturing special purpose machines or customized machines, our company is at the disposal of the Customers from the assessment of the individual demands to the electrical and machinery designing, all the way to the implementation. In these cases we face a wide range of tasks, let it be a preheating machine, cartoner / bulk-to-box transloading machine, or a complete second stage tire building machine. In every case, we tailor the service portfolio to the demands of the Customer. If the plans and exact technical descriptions are available, we manufacture and assemble the given equipment, in the absence of these we assess what the given machine should be able to do, and start the designing process. In the case of manufacturing a complete machine, a lot of aspects have to be examined, and all of them have to be taken into account, so that the customized machine that is created as the end result can maximally perform what it is built for, and last but not least, it can achieve the productivity volume that the Customer formulated in the introductory phase of the project. We have already mentioned the safety-technical knowledge at the instrumentation and control engineering area, and that is very much needed in this case as well. We affix the machines we build with CE markings, and correspondingly, we complete every test that is required for this qualification on them.
With close to 20 years of experience in the designing and implementation of building automation and management systems, monitoring systems, our staff are waiting for the requests. Our company undertakes the turnkey implementation of the systems mentioned, as well as their aftercare following their handover.
We undertake the revision of the operation of systems implemented by other companies, and we also undertake their refurbishment and alteration as needed.
Our colleagues have considerable experience and routine in the automation of building engineering systems serving pharmaceutical production environments and the implementation of the relevant management and monitoring systems.
We also undertake the preparation of validation documentation related to the control systems that we implemented in a controlled environment.

Here we think about the difficulties arising in the high-current energy distribution, connections to old system or systems without an available documentation, the complete electrical designing tasks of new facilities from the medium voltage feeds to the 0,4 kV systems and control systems.
For us, it is not an unknown task to redraw and redesign the controls of an existing special purpose machine, and thus multiplying the capacity, or even to bring a machine manufactured in China in such a condition, so that it can be put into operation in the European Union as well.

As engineering service, our specialist engineer colleagues and assembly managers, who are able to communicate in English and German at negotiation level, are at the disposal of our customers.
The start of our company was greatly helped by the fact that in 2010 TEVA Gyógyszergyár Zrt. signed a maintenance framework contract with us at its Debrecen site for carrying out the electrical and instrumental control engineering maintenance works at the Debrecen and Sajóbábony plant sites. We have been performing this maintenance activity since then, and starting from the 1st of January 2014, our mandate is valid for an indefinite period.
In 2011, we were also commissioned at the site of EVONIK Agroferm Zrt. to perform the electrical and instrumental maintenance works of the fermentation and isolation plant, which we have been carrying out since then.
Since 2012, we have been in an annually renewed maintenance contract with an American-owned pharmaceutical plant in Komárom to perform the electrical and control engineering maintenance tasks for the facilities at the site.
